Lacey Ripple Placemat.


Materials:
Color A: 1 skein 14 oz Handicrafter Cotton- Caramel
Color B: 1 skein 2.5 oz Sugar N Cream cotton- Soft Ecru
Size I Hook
Pattern worked in multiples of 7 chs +1ch
Finished size 19 inches x 13 inches.
Ch 71
Row 1:
(rs) 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in next ch, * sk next 3 chs, 1 sc in next ch, ch 3, dc in next 3 chs, * repeat from * to * across to last 4 chs, sk next 3 chs, 1 sc into last ch, ch3 turn.
Row 2:
2 dc in first sc, * sk next 3 dc, sc in first ch of ch3, ch 3, dc in next 2 chs, dc in sc, * repeat from * to * across last 3 dc, sk next 2 dc, sc in 3rd ch of turning ch. Ch 3, turn.
Repeat row 2 to desired size.
Color pattern:
Color A 3 rows
Color B 2 rows
Color A to desired length (I did 22)
Color B 2 rows
Color A 3 rows
Finish off.

Simple Open Diamond Shrug.


Simple Open Diamond Shrug
Size J Hook
Small/Med size
Lion Brand Jiffy (pink) 3 skeins

Sleeve:

pattern worked in Multiple of 4 + 5 chs.

Row 1:
Ch 57, dc in 4th ch from hook, (3 skipped chs counts as dc) dc in next ch, (ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next 3 chs), across..

Row 2:
Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1 now and throughout) turn, sk next dc, dc in next dc,* dc in ch 1 sp, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next dc, repeat from * across..

Row 3:
Ch 3, (counts as first dc) turn, dc in next ch1 sp and in next dc, * ch 1, sk next dc, dc in next dc, dc in next ch 1 sp and in next dc, repeat from * across.

Repeat row 3 and 4 till desired sleeve length. Measuring from top of shoulder to short, 3/4 or long sleeve length. Then start row 1 of Body pattern.


Body/ Back:

Row 1:
Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc and ch 1 sp across.

Row 2:
Ch 4 turn, skip next dc, dc in next dc, *ch 1 , sk dc, dc in next dc, repeat from * across.

Row 3:
Ch 4 turn, sk ch 1 sp, dc in next dc, (ch 1, dc in next dc) 8 times, dc in ch 1 sp, dc in dc (ch 1, dc in next dc) 7 times, dc in ch 1 sp, dc in next dc (ch 1 , dc in next dc ) 8 times

repeat row 2
Repeat pattern 3 times then continue on to last arm.

Sleeve #2:

Row 1:
Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc and ch 1 sp across.

Row 2:
Ch 4, turn, sk next dc, dc in next 3 dc, (ch 1, sk next dc, dc in next 3 dc), across.



Repeat row 2 untill sleeve is the same length as the 1st sleeve. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.

Red Heart Super Saver

Round 1: Ch 5, Sl St to join ring, ch 3, 2dc in ring, ch 2, (3dc, ch2) 3 times, Sl St in 3 rd ch of beg. Ch. (4 ch 2 sps)

Round 2: Sl St to corner sp, ch 3, 2dc in same corner sp, * ch 2, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) in corner ch 2 sp.* repeat * to * 2 more times, ch 2, 2 dc in corner sp, ch 2, sl st into 3rd ch of beg. Ch. Fasten off.

Round 3: Join new color in any ch 2 corner sp, ch3, 2dc, *ch1, sk next dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, trc in middle dc from round 1, ch 1, sk next dc, dc in next st, ch 1,** (3dc,ch 2,3dc) in corner*, Repeat * to * 2 more times, repeat pattern from * to ** , 3dc in corner sp, hdc into 3rd ch of beg. Ch.

Round 4: ch 3, dc in same sp,* dc in every st and sp,** (2dc, ch2, 2dc)* in corner, repeat * to * 2 more times, repeat * to ** once then 2dc in corner, hdc into 3rd ch of beg. Ch.

Round 5: ch3, 1dc in same sp, * ch1, sk next dc, dc in next dc, ch1, across, ** (2dc, ch2, 2dc)* in corner sp, repeat * to * 2 more times, repeat * to ** once end with 2dc, ch 2 sl st into 3rd ch of beg. Ch. Fasten off.


Round 6: ch 3, 1 dc in corner sp, dc in next *2 dc’s,( trc in open dc from round 4, dc in next dc), 8 times, dc in next 2 dc’s,** (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in corner sp*, repeat * to * 2 more times, repeat * to ** 1 time end with 2dc in corner sp, hdc into 3rd ch of beg. Ch.


Round 7: ch 3, dc in same ch 2 sp, *dc in each dc across**, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc)* in corner sp, repeat * to * 2 times, repeat * to ** once, 2dc in corner sp, end with 2dc in corner

Round 8: If needed do a sc, hdc or dc around working 3 sts in corner to get to 8 inches.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Fiber: Peaches and Cream cotton




rd 1: ch 4, sl st to make a ring



rd 2: ch 3, 15 dc in ring, sl st to 3rd ch in begining ch (16 dc)



rd 3: ch 3, dc in same stitch as joining, 2 dc in each dc around, sl st in 3rd ch in begining ch. (32 dc)



rd 4: ch 3 dc in same as joining, *fpdc on next st, 2 dc in next dc* repeat from * to * around end with fpdc in last stitch and sl st into 3rd ch in begining ch.



rd 5: ch 3, 2dc in net dc, fpdc on fpdc from previous round. * dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, fpdc on next fpdc * repeat around and fpdc on last fpdc from previous round and sl st in 3rd ch of begining ch.



rd 6: ch 3, 2dc in next st, dc in next dc, fpdc in next fpdc, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, fpdc* repeat around end with fpdc and join to 3rd ch. fasten off

9 Patch Square.




8 inch 9 Patch square.


I used Caron SS

H hook


It makes a 2″ square motif. Any yarn or hook can be used, size will vary but this can be made any size you want.


With your choice of colors make 9


2″ squares motifs


Rd 1: ch 4 sl st in first ch to make a loop.



Rd 2: ch 3, dc 15 more in loop. (16 dc)



Rd 3: ch 3, (dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in same st, *dc in the next 3 sts,( 2dc, ch 1, 2dc)corner made. * Repeat from * to * around. sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch. Fasten off and weave in ends.



Whipstitch or sc the 9 squares together in 3 rows of 3 in any color combination you want to use.


Edging.


Dc around (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in corners. Join in 3rd ch, ch 1 sc around working 3 sc’s in corners. Fasten off and weave in ends.



sc, hdc or trc can be used to get desired size.
